Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370–$2,500
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Assignment End Date: January 16, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour day shifts
• Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Call Requirement: Approximately 8–10 call days per month, including 1–2 weekends per month
• EMR: Epic
• Floating: No floating required
• Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided

Cath Lab RN Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
• At least 1 year of professional Registered Nursing experience; Cath Lab or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience is strongly preferred
• Current New Mexico RN license or an active Compact State RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Current knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the patient population served
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, physicians, and members of the care team
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, teamwork, and professional development

Cath Lab Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care for patients receiving cardiac catheterization services
• Complete initial and ongoing patient assessments, identify priorities, and recognize changes requiring intervention
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and update individualized plans of care
• Administer and document timely nursing interventions based on patient needs and established standards of care
• Monitor patient progress and outcomes, communicating significant findings to the appropriate providers
• Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination
• Perform applicable point-of-care testing and accurately document results
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to promote quality cardiovascular care outcomes
• Use effective communication, delegation, and teamwork to support safe unit operations
• Respond to call assignments and maintain readiness to support cardiac procedural care
• Promote a respectful, supportive, and patient-centered environment
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, attendance, documentation, and infection-prevention policies
