Travel Nursing Job Details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts, approximately 6:45 a.m.-5:15 p.m.
• Call Requirements: One to three 12-hour call shifts during each six-week schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays; shifts may be 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
• Additional Schedule Requirement: One to two late days per week, staying up to two hours beyond the regular shift as needed

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Idaho
• At least 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience
• Operating room specialty experience and demonstrated perioperative nursing competency
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts and participate in scheduled call coverage, including weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to complete required credentialing, competency validation, and onboarding requirements

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare operating rooms, patients, equipment, and supplies for scheduled surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative care team
• Function effectively in the circulating nurse role while supporting sterile technique and patient safety practices
• Monitor patients, anticipate surgical needs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Complete accurate documentation, specimen handling, surgical counts, and handoffs in accordance with established standards
• Participate in scheduled call shifts and provide timely support for urgent and emergent surgical cases
