This Pennsylvania travel nursing job is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) who is confident supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology cases, and complex cardiovascular care. Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,660–$2,800
• Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days, approximately 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Shifts per Week: 4
• Scheduling: Monday through Friday; weekday off varies
• Weekend Requirement: Approximately every third weekend, including call coverage
• Call Requirement: As needed by the unit; approximately 10–12 call days per month
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatric patients
• Unit Environment: Three procedural labs and a 12-bed preparation and recovery area

Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Pennsylvania with no license hits
• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiovascular, cardiac catheterization, or invasive cardiology nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC
• Required EPIC experience
• Clinical experience with adult diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ability to support on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed
• Comfort caring for patients who may require isolation precautions and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Cardiovascular Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after cardiac and electrophysiology procedures.
• Support diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, left and right heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular interventions, and complex percutaneous coronary interventions.
• Monitor procedural sedation and interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Assist with procedures involving IABP, Impella, ECMO, rotablator/CSI, and shockwave technologies.
• Circulate procedures, maintain sterile technique, and promote infection prevention and patient safety.
• Care for patients in the preparation and recovery area while collaborating with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary support teams.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to cardiac emergencies, including advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest situations.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in EPIC.
