Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Healthcare Setting: On-site Emergency Department; acute-care environment

• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 17, 2027
• Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Schedule Requirements: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Experience providing patient care in a fast-paced emergency or acute-care setting
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, prioritization, and communication skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Perform rapid patient assessments, prioritize care, and recognize changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to established orders and Emergency Department protocols
• Monitor patient responses and communicate significant findings promptly to the provider and interdisciplinary care team
• Assist with emergency procedures, patient stabilization, and timely transfers or admissions
• Document assessments, nursing interventions, patient responses, and discharge or transition planning accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary staff, patients, and families to support safe, compassionate emergency care
