Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Location: Muskegon, Michigan
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel contract
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 10, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to assess and prioritize patients in a fast-paced emergency care setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
• Completion of required professional credentials, health screening, and competency verification before the travel assignment begins

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and promptly identify changes in patient condition
• Provide safe, evidence-based emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent medical needs
• Administer medications and treatments, initiate appropriate interventions, and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely evaluation and patient disposition
• Prioritize care effectively while managing multiple patients in a dynamic emergency department
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
• Educate patients and families while delivering compassionate care during stressful circumstances
