Seeking an experienced outpatient Registered Nurse for a full-time, 19-week assignment in Geneva, New York. Support cardiology and interventional radiology patients on a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. Outpatient RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Location: Geneva, NY
• Healthcare Setting: On-site outpatient clinic

• Schedule Highlights: No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts
• Typical Department Rotation: Approximately 2 days per week in Cardiology and 3 days per week in Interventional Radiology

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN patient-care experience
• Recent experience with arrhythmia recognition and cardiology nursing
• Experience with moderate or conscious sedation
• Experience with treadmill, exercise tolerance, and nuclear stress testing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association or RQI
• RN graduate required; BSN preferred
• ICU, PACU, or cardiology nursing experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, patient education, and emergency-response skills

Outpatient Cardiology RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients receiving outpatient cardiology and interventional radiology services
• Conduct initial patient interviews and complete preliminary assessments of test data
• Prepare diagnostic studies for physician interpretation
• Perform and support treadmill, exercise tolerance, and nuclear stress testing
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including patients receiving moderate or conscious sedation
• Assist with stress echocardiograms, tilt-table studies, and other specialized cardiac procedures
• Recognize and interpret arrhythmias and promptly communicate significant findings
• Identify emergency situations and respond according to established policies and protocols
• Provide clear education and support to patients and families throughout testing and recovery
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiac rehabilitation staff, and nursing leadership to promote accurate, timely, and coordinated patient care
