Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010

Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Missouri
• At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience, preferably in telemetry, cardiac, progressive care, or medical-surgical settings
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience caring for post-cardiac catheterization patients, without sheath removal
• Experience caring for patients following pacemaker placement and those experiencing stroke-related conditions
• Comfort managing amiodarone and Cardizem infusions
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments in telemetry, medical-surgical, and progressive care units
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and organization skills

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions while promptly communicating changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterization, pacemaker placement, and stroke-related events
• Safely administer and monitor cardiac medications, including amiodarone and Cardizem infusions, according to established protocols
• Recognize changes in cardiac rhythm and patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with providers, nursing assistants, therapists, and other members of the care team to coordinate patient-centered care
• Support a fast-paced, high-energy environment through dependable teamwork and professional communication
• Float to designated telemetry, medical-surgical, or progressive care areas as needed
