Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Nursing Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: Acute care operating room
• Call/Weekend Requirements: May vary and will be discussed during the interview
• Operating Room Environment: Four ORs with typical 1:1 staffing
• Electronic Medical Record: Allscripts

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Arizona
• At least 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Operating room circulating experience required; scrub experience is not required
• Experience with general, orthopedic, neurological, OB-GYN, and ENT procedures
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Strong patient-safety focus, sound clinical judgment, and effective communication skills

Travel OR RN Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating Registered Nurse for a variety of surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, supplies, equipment, and documentation for scheduled cases
• Complete preoperative and intraoperative nursing assessments while maintaining patient safety
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative team
• Maintain sterile technique and support adherence to surgical policies and protocols
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Accurately document care and surgical events in the electronic medical record
• Promote a calm, organized, and compassionate experience for patients and families
