Medical-Surgical RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Tennessee
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, and prioritization skills
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced acute-care environment
• Successful completion of applicable facility onboarding and compliance requirements

Travel Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, progress, and response to treatment
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for adult medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Recognize changes in patient status and promptly communicate concerns to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, patients, and families to coordinate care
• Provide patient and family education related to diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while following nursing standards and hospital protocols
