Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nurse contract
- Location: Aberdeen, Washington
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: January 18, 2027
- Schedule: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 6:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
- Healthcare Setting: On-site Emergency Department
- Openings: 2
- Additional Scheduling: Opportunity to pick up extra shifts; requested time off must be pre-approved
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department registered nursing experience
- Current Washington State RN license or valid multistate license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
- Completion of an approved 6-hour suicide prevention training program
- Demographic verification through Nursys
- Strong emergency nursing knowledge, clinical judgment, and patient assessment skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute as a dependable emergency department team member
- Experience with Meditech is helpful but not required
- Full availability for the assignment schedule is required
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, reassessments, and ongoing monitoring of emergency patients
- Prioritize care based on patient acuity and changing clinical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments safely and efficiently
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient status and emergent conditions
- Support emergency procedures and interventions within the scope of practice
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment
- Provide clear patient and family education throughout the emergency care process
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and complete required handoff communication
