Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 15, 2027
• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Call Requirement: None
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3
• Documentation System: Epic
• Float Expectation: First to float during periods of low census
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Indiana
• At least 2 years of recent critical care nursing or ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management in collaboration with respiratory therapy
• Strong clinical proficiency managing titratable vasoactive infusions
• Ability to care for high-acuity cardiac and medical critical care patients
• Comfort working in a fast-paced cardiac ICU environment and floating when needed

Cardiac Critical Care Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Cardiac Critical Care Unit
• Care for post-catheterization STEMI and NSTEMI patients, direct admissions, and medical ICU overflow patients
• Monitor and manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, and advanced hemodynamic support
• Utilize equipment including ventilators, Arctic Sun systems, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Perform ongoing assessments, recognize changes in patient condition, and intervene promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and support safe transitions of care
• Participate in every-other-weekend coverage and float assignments as required
