Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Akron, Ohio
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120–$2,230
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 23, 2026
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week; call participation required and discussed during the interview
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab / CVOR procedural environment
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract

Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for, preferably completed in one location
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications in hand at the time of submission
• Recent specialty reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
• Ability to complete required background screening and facility onboarding requirements
• Ability to successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination, or an applicable medical or religious exemption

CVOR and Cardiac Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedural cases
• Circulate, scrub, and monitor cases according to procedural needs and established standards
• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures, identifying changes in condition and responding promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient response
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia professionals, and the interdisciplinary procedural team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
• Participate in scheduled call coverage and contribute to unit readiness
