Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Call Requirement: Approximately 12–15 days per month
• Schedule Expectations: Every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with department policy

Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible to work in Florida
• At least 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with cardiac catheterization procedures, including left heart catheterization and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Ability to function in scrub, monitor, and circulating Registered Nurse roles
• Familiarity with cardiac procedural equipment and electronic medical records
• Strong patient assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to participate in call coverage, weekend assignments, and holiday rotation

Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support procedures such as left heart catheterization, PCI, pacemaker placement, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), stress testing, and loop recorder procedures
• Perform scrub, monitor, and circulating responsibilities based on department needs
• Monitor patients closely, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to urgent clinical needs
• Prepare patients, equipment, and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique and cardiac procedural safety standards
• Administer medications and assist with sedation and procedural care according to applicable policies
• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, technologists, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and provide thorough handoff communication
• Participate in scheduled call coverage, weekend assignments, and rotating holidays
