Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: 13-week ICU travel nursing contract

• End Date: January 22, 2027
• Nursing Schedule: Night shift, 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
• Work Arrangement: On-site

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand
• At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications in hand at the time of placement
• Recent specialty reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months
• Successful completion of required background, compliance, and health screening processes
• Current COVID-19 and influenza vaccination, subject to applicable medical or religious exemption policies
• Successful completion of required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety evaluation
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment

ICU Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Respond effectively to emergencies and support patient stabilization efforts
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and regulatory standards
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, patient education, and continuity of care
