Travel RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,710–$1,800
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 27, 2026
- End Date: January 26, 2027
- Location: On-site in Baltimore, Maryland
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week; 36 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Call: None
- Weekends and Holidays: Not required
- Orientation: 28 hours
- Floating: May float to Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed
Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a valid compact RN license
- At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry or comparable acute care nursing experience
- Completion of at least one prior travel nursing assignment
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- NIHSS certification as required for the assignment
- Successful completion of the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms
- Telemetry and medical-surgical nursing experience
- Cerner experience preferred
- Willingness to complete required clinical modules and onboarding requirements before the assignment begins
- Flu vaccination required
Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to patients boarding in the emergency department or ASU area.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly.
- Perform patient assessments, administer medications, coordinate treatments, and evaluate patient responses.
- Manage care for patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support efficient patient flow and quality outcomes.
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record.
- Float to Med/Surg Telemetry units when needed while maintaining high standards of patient care.
