Travel Registered Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640–$1,730
• Location: Marion, North Carolina
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing assignment
• Start Date: October 5, 2026
• End Date: January 4, 2027
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m.
• Work Setting: On-site Emergency Department

Emergency Department Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in North Carolina
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department, emergency room, or acute care setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and fulfill the 36-hour weekly schedule
• Strong patient assessment, triage, prioritization, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to meet applicable facility credentialing and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills

Emergency Room RN Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and promptly escalate changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate timely emergency care
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Support safe patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and emergency interventions
