Travel Nurse Job Details

• End Date: January 18, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Schedule: Day shifts, typically 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., three days per week, with every third Friday included
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Floating: Flexibility to support operating room needs at the Bucyrus, Galion, and Ontario locations

Operating Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio; pending licenses are not accepted
• At least 2 years of recent, continuous operating room nursing or perioperative nursing experience
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Epic electronic medical record experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical services environment
• Willingness to float among designated campuses as needed
• Ability to report to the hospital within 1 hour if placed on call
• Required COVID-19 and influenza vaccination, subject to applicable medical or religious exemptions

OR Circulator Responsibilities

• Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures, promoting patient safety and maintaining a sterile operating room environment
• Complete preoperative nursing assessments, verify patient identity and procedure details, and support surgical site verification
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond promptly to changing clinical needs
• Document perioperative nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, surgical equipment, supplies, and required documentation
• Assist with patient transfers, positioning, specimen handling, surgical counts, and postoperative handoff
• Float to other designated campuses and participate in on-call coverage when assigned
