Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Granbury, Texas
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,400–$1,470
- Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 20, 2026
- End Date: January 19, 2027
- Shift: Night shifts, approximately 2:15 p.m.–3:45 a.m.
- Shift Duration: 16-hour nights
- Schedule: No call and no floating
- Department: Emergency Department
- Department Profile: 10-room, 19-bed/chair emergency care setting with an approximate 4:1 patient ratio
- Charting System: Medhost
- Uniform: Royal blue scrubs
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- At least 2 years of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications through AHA or ARC
- Recent experience caring for trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced emergency care environment
- Travel assignment eligibility may require a permanent residence more than 50 miles from the assignment location
Emergency Department RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting to the emergency department
- Rapidly assess, prioritize, and respond to patients with emergent and time-sensitive conditions
- Care for patients experiencing trauma, stroke, chest pain, and other acute medical concerns
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established clinical protocols
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to support safe, efficient patient outcomes
- Complete accurate nursing documentation in the Medhost electronic medical record
- Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered emergency care experience
