• Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Shift Duration: 10-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours, with 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation

Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Florida
• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience, preferably in interventional radiology, radiology, procedural care, or a comparable acute-care setting
• Strong patient assessment, monitoring, and clinical judgment skills
• Ability to work day shifts and participate in rotating weekend and holiday coverage
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, as required by the facility or applicable practice standards
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Interventional Radiology Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, prepare, and monitor patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with orders, protocols, and scope of practice
• Monitor vital signs, patient responses, and recovery status, escalating changes promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists, procedural staff, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and support safe transitions of care
• Provide patient and family education regarding procedures, recovery, and follow-up instructions
• Promote infection prevention, patient safety, and adherence to established procedural standards
