Telemetry RN Job Details

Telemetry Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Virginia
• At least 2 years of professional RN experience
• At least 1 recent year of Telemetry nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to assess and monitor patients with cardiac and other telemetry needs
• Must be a local candidate in or near South Boston, Virginia
• Ability to attend weekday orientation and maintain the minimum per diem schedule

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a hospital telemetry setting
• Perform focused patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and clinical data, recognizing and responding to potential complications
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established clinical standards
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to support individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and promote a safe, high-quality patient experience
