Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,230–$2,350
- Location: Olympia, Washington
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Schedule: 4 shifts per week; 10-hour day shifts, generally 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients; procedural patients
- Unit Setting: Interventional Radiology with five procedure rooms and an average daily census of approximately 15–20 patients
- Call: Approximately one weekday night of call every other week, plus occasional weekend call coverage
- Weekend Coverage: May be required every 3–4 weekends based on staffing needs
- Charting: Epic
Interventional Radiology RN Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience; 3–5 years preferred
- Previous Interventional Radiology, procedural nursing, or critical-care nursing experience preferred
- ICU experience is required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Washington; compact license must be in hand at submission when applicable
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Epic electronic health record charting experience
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
- Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Ability to participate in scheduled call, weekend coverage, and holiday scheduling as assigned
- Two professional references covering at least one year of relevant experience within the past three years
Interventional Radiology Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patients receiving procedural sedation and promptly identify changes in clinical status
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias while maintaining continuous patient monitoring
- Support procedures including CT-guided biopsies, fistulograms, GJ-tube placements, lower-extremity angiograms, nuclear medicine and stress tests, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and Y-90 procedures
- Complete comprehensive assessments, medication administration, documentation, and patient education using Epic
- Collaborate with radiology providers, physicians, procedural teams, and interdisciplinary support services to promote positive patient outcomes
- Respond appropriately to urgent patient-care needs and participate in emergency interventions
- Provide call coverage and support occasional weekend scheduling needs
- Float occasionally to nearby sister locations when operationally required
