Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
- Nursing Specialty: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
- Location: Lander, Wyoming
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights
- Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- End Date: January 5, 2027
- Position Type: Travel nursing contract
Emergency Department RN Job Requirements
- Active Wyoming RN license or valid multistate RN license
- At least 2 years of recent Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and TNCC certifications through the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical judgment, critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity emergency care environment
- Ability to provide documentation of required nursing licensure and certifications
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients using the nursing process
- Assess patient conditions, establish priorities, and implement timely emergency nursing interventions
- Apply sound clinical judgment and scientific reasoning when planning and delivering patient care
- Maintain patient safety and deliver care in accordance with applicable nursing standards, hospital policies, and emergency department protocols
- Delegate patient care activities appropriately based on team members’ education and experience
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel involved in patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
