Work as an outpatient Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN) in Seattle, Washington, providing cardiac care, patient education, and procedure support. Electrophysiology RN Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,200–$2,320
- Healthcare Setting: Outpatient heart and vascular clinic
- Specialty: Electrophysiology and outpatient cardiology
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Shifts: 5 shifts per week
- Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts
- Weekend Requirement: None

- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13-week contract
- Electronic Health Record: Epic experience required
- Attire: Any color scrubs
Electrophysiology Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington or a compact RN license in hand at submission
- At least 2 years of recent RN experience in electrophysiology is required
- Current BLS certification
- Recent Epic charting experience
- Experience with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including pacemaker insertion, cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, conduction studies, arrhythmia induction, Watchman procedures, and left atrial appendage closure
- Knowledge of antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics
- Ability to obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs and manage dysrhythmias
- Strong patient education and communication skills, particularly related to lifestyle changes and medication adherence
- Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years
Outpatient Cardiac Care Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients receiving outpatient electrophysiology and cardiology services
- Support cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, including device-related procedures and cardiac rhythm interventions
- Assess patients, identify changes in condition, and appropriately triage symptoms and patient concerns
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias while obtaining and reviewing 12-lead EKGs
- Provide education regarding medications, lifestyle modification, treatment plans, and follow-up care
- Coordinate patient questions and concerns across general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and heart failure services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to promote efficient, high-quality patient care
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and positive patient outcomes
