Travel Nursing Job Details
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Medical ICU
- Position: Travel ICU Registered Nurse
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
- Location: Green Bay, Wisconsin
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 17, 2027
- Schedule: Three 12-hour day shifts per week
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
- Shift: 12-hour days
- Work Setting: On-site hospital setting
- Floating: May float to cardiovascular ICU, intermediate care, and additional ICU settings as needed
ICU Registered Nurse Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or an active compact RN license in hand
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and care coordination skills
- Ability to work scheduled day shifts, including every third weekend
- Applicants must meet applicable travel nursing assignment eligibility requirements
ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a Medical ICU
- Continuously assess patients, recognize changes in condition, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary critical care team
- Manage complex patient needs, prioritize care, and respond effectively to critical events
- Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
- Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
