- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250 per week
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.; every other weekend
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 1, 2026
- Assignment End Date: December 31, 2026
- Work Setting: On-site hospital-based Progressive Care Unit
PCU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- At least 1 year of acute-care registered nursing experience required; Progressive Care Unit experience preferred
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Basic EKG knowledge and cardiac monitoring experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to provide attentive nursing care in a fast-paced environment requiring advanced monitoring and frequent patient assessment
Progressive Care Unit RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to acutely ill patients with an elevated risk for clinical instability
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and recognize changes in patient condition
- Provide advanced patient monitoring and implement timely nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established standards of care
- Use basic EKG knowledge to support cardiac monitoring and clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate safe, effective patient care
- Document patient status, care provided, and responses to treatment accurately
- Support patient and family education throughout the care experience
