Travel Registered Nurse Job Details
- Specialty: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) / Telemetry Registered Nurse
- Location: Chattanooga, Tennessee
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- End Date: January 16, 2027
- Patient Ratio: May be as high as 6:1

LTAC Travel Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license or multistate compact RN license
- At least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience; LTAC or telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification
- Demonstrated experience caring for patients with ventilators and tracheostomies
- Knowledge of central-line care
- Wound-care experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, organization, and delegation skills
LTAC Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medically complex LTAC and telemetry patients
- Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
- Monitor patients with ventilators, tracheostomies, central lines, and other complex clinical needs
- Demonstrate critical thinking and sound clinical judgment while anticipating patient needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
- Prioritize and delegate care appropriately based on staff education, experience, and patient acuity
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel
- Maintain clinical competencies through education and adherence to applicable nursing standards, policies, and procedures
