Travel Nursing Job Details

- Schedule: Night shifts, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220–$2,340
- Patient Population: Adults and infants
- Staffing Ratio: Approximately 1:1–3
- Floating: Flexibility to float as needed is required
- Documentation: Epic
Labor & Delivery RN Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including LDRP, postpartum, and newborn care
- Active Registered Nurse license in Washington or an active compact RN license in hand at submission
- Current BLS certification
- AWHONN Intermediate certification
- Fetal Heart Monitoring certification or demonstrated competency
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong experience with high-risk antepartum, high-risk labor and delivery, OB triage, cesarean recovery, and couplet care
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to changing unit needs
Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
- Care for patients in LDRP, antepartum, OB triage, postpartum, and normal newborn settings
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal and cesarean births
- Circulate for cesarean sections and support preoperative and postoperative care
- Perform fetal heart monitoring, sterile vaginal examinations, and obstetric patient triage
- Initiate and maintain adult IV access and central lines as appropriate
- Administer blood and blood products, insulin, magnesium sulfate, anticoagulants, and antihypertensive therapies according to orders and policy
- Manage epidural and PCA pumps, drains, pain assessment, and pain-management interventions
- Use and calibrate intrauterine pressure catheters when indicated
- Provide safe, family-centered care for newborns and support couplet-care practices
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
- Float as needed to support patient care and maintain a flexible, team-focused approach
