• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Work 2 out of every 3 weekends
• Call: No call required

Medical-Surgical RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Wisconsin
• At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Experience caring for adult medical-surgical and orthopedic patients preferred
• Ability to work scheduled weekends and 12-hour day shifts
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and orthopedic patients
• Assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor vital signs, recognize changes in patient status, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care environment
