Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,820–$1,910

- Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Emergency Room Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or a valid compact-state license in hand at the time of submission
- At least 1 year of recent registered nursing experience; 3 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Recent experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
- Proficiency with Epic or a comparable electronic medical record system
- Ability to work overnight nursing shifts and required weekends
- Ability to meet applicable travel assignment requirements, including the 50-mile radius rule
Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a high-acuity Emergency Department
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prioritize care, and respond effectively to changing clinical conditions
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
- Manage arterial lines and central lines
- Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, continuous IV sedation, and procedural sedation under established protocols
- Perform phlebotomy and initiate and maintain peripheral IV access
- Monitor patients during procedures and promptly communicate changes to the interdisciplinary care team
- Collaborate with respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other clinical support services
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record
