Travel Nursing Job Details

• Specialty: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVICU
• Unit: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
• Location: Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg
• Schedule: 3 night shifts per week; 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights, approximately 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,310-$2,440
• Start Date: October 20, 2026
• Assignment End Date: January 17, 2027
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Work Setting: On-site
• Additional Scheduling: May float to other comparable critical-care units based on operational needs

Travel RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or a valid compact-state RN license
• At least 1 year of recent RN experience in a CVICU, ICU, or comparable critical-care setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Fingerprinting completed or available as required before the start date
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and float to comparable critical-care units when needed

CVICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular and surgical patients in the CVICU
• Monitor patients closely, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments while following critical-care protocols and patient-safety standards
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively during patient handoffs
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment while floating to other comparable critical-care units as assigned
