• Patient Acuity: Therapy-level care through PCU-level care
• Charting and Medication Systems: EPIC and Pyxis experience preferred; training available
• Additional Training: HARP/CPI preferred; training available

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 3 years of professional nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical telemetry
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to care for patients across a range of acuity levels and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, quality outcomes, and professional nursing standards
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location

Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely while monitoring patient responses
• Recognize, document, and respond promptly to complications and changes in patient condition
• Monitor telemetry and communicate significant findings to the appropriate care team members
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to support positive outcomes
• Provide patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow applicable nursing standards and policies
• Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
