Travel Nursing Job Details

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
- Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. (36 hours per week)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Role Structure: Central staffing office float pool; flexibility to float among inpatient and general-care units is required
- Local Requirement: An 80-mile local radius rule applies
Telemetry RN Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
- Telemetry or comparable acute-care nursing experience
- At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment
- Active Registered Nurse license; compact license accepted
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) competency
- EPIC electronic health record experience
- Ability to float confidently among multiple inpatient and general-care units
- One professional reference from your work history
Telemetry Travel Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to telemetry and general-care patients during overnight shifts.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, clinical status, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established orders and standards of care.
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Recognize and promptly respond to changes in patient condition, including neurological and cardiac concerns.
- Float among assigned inpatient units while adapting efficiently to varying patient populations and clinical workflows.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EPIC.
- Support a positive patient experience through clear communication, patient education, and compassionate bedside care.
