Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890

• Schedule: 36 hours per week

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department registered nursing experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• ENPC, TNCC, or TNS certification preferred

Emergency Department Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and adjust nursing care as indicated
• Communicate with emergency physicians regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary departments to support efficient patient flow
• Deliver care addressing the physical, psychosocial, and general needs of patients and families
• Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families
• Document care accurately while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and professional nursing practice
