Registered Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Location: Trenton, New Jersey
• Setting: On-site ICU Critical Care Float Pool
• Start Date: November 10, 2026
• Contract Duration: 8-week nursing contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Clinical Environment: Float coverage across multiple hospital campuses, with occasional MST assignments as needed
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy blue

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of current ICU and MST nursing experience
• Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Current influenza vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• Strong adaptability and the ability to transition effectively between critical care assignments

Critical Care Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and MST settings
• Float between designated hospital campuses and clinical units based on patient acuity and staffing needs
• Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments while following critical care standards and protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Cerner
• Support continuity of care during every other weekend and holiday rotations
• Promote patient safety, clinical excellence, and compassionate care across each assignment
