Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,540–$2,670
- Travel RN Job Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Assignment Start Date: November 3, 2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 30, 2027
- Nursing Schedule: Rotating 4x10-hour shifts; approximately 40 hours per week
- Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
- Typical Shift Times: 7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with possible 9:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 11:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m. assignments
- Scheduling: No block scheduling; flexibility is expected
- Call Requirements: Evening call approximately every 5–6 shifts through 7:00 a.m. the following day, plus every sixth or seventh weekend
- Holiday Coverage: Every other major holiday
- Dress Code: Any scrub color
Operating Room RN Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience in an Operating Room or perioperative setting
- Current or conditional Massachusetts RN license verified through Nursys
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Seasonal influenza vaccination required during flu season
- Two recent manager or supervisor references in the matching specialty
- Current resume and specialty-specific skills checklist
- EPIC experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts, scheduled call, weekends, and holidays as required
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, effective Registered Nurse care throughout the perioperative experience
- Support surgeons and surgical teams in a fast-paced Operating Room environment
- Prepare patients, equipment, and the surgical environment according to established standards
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote patient safety at every stage of care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
- Respond to scheduled call assignments and adapt to changing surgical and staffing needs
- Demonstrate flexibility while working rotating shifts, weekends, and major holidays
