Travel Nursing Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910–$2,010
- Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
- Location: Zanesville, Ohio
- Healthcare Setting: Level III Trauma Center emergency department
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; three 12-hour night shifts
- Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Holiday rotation
- Call: Not routinely expected
Emergency Room Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Ohio
- At least three prior Emergency Department assignments and/or three years of current or recent Emergency Department experience
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Recent competency with Epic electronic medical records is required
- TNCC and ENPC certifications are strongly preferred
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotations
- At least one year of professional nursing experience required
Emergency Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across the acuity spectrum
- Rapidly assess, triage, monitor, and reassess patients in a busy Level III Trauma Center environment
- Deliver trauma nursing care in trauma bays and other emergency department treatment areas
- Recognize clinical deterioration and initiate appropriate emergency interventions
- Administer medications and treatments, assist with procedures, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic
- Support safe patient transitions, admissions, transfers, and discharges
