Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Fond du Lac, WI | 13-Week Contract

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130
• Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m., every Saturday and Sunday
• Guaranteed Hours: 24 hours per week, excluding applicable orientation and holiday closures
• Call Requirements: None
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic experience within the past year required
• Interview: Video interview with the leadership team

Emergency Room RN Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin
• At least 3 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department RN experience
• At least 1 successfully completed travel nursing contract
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Associate degree or nursing certificate required; BSN strongly preferred
• Recent Epic electronic charting experience
• Strong communication, teamwork, prioritization, and clinical judgment skills
• Previous point-of-care testing experience preferred; training will be provided
• Flexibility to float to medical-surgical support areas and other nearby locations, as needed

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of acute conditions and injuries.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, medication administration, treatments, and ongoing monitoring.
• Collaborate with nurses, paramedics, providers, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate timely patient care.
• Complete accurate and efficient clinical documentation in Epic.
• Perform point-of-care testing and process laboratory samples according to department procedures.
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond promptly to urgent and emergent needs.
• Support a patient-centered integrated care model through clear communication and teamwork.
• Float to designated support areas or nearby locations when operational needs require additional assistance.
• Participate in weekend and holiday scheduling expectations; missed shifts must be completed within the designated make-up period.
