Travel Nursing Job Details
- Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and critical care nursing
- Location: Waukesha, Wisconsin
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
- Start Date: November 3, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week, excluding potential orientation and facility holiday closures
- Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holiday
- Call: No on-call or callback requirements
- Charting: Epic experience required within the last 12 months
- Scrubs: Any color
Travel ICU Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 3 years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience
- At least 1 completed travel nursing contract
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Associate degree or nursing certificate required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Recent Epic charting experience within the past 12 months
- Ability to provide resilient, adaptable, and high-quality patient care in a changing healthcare environment
- Compliance with applicable COVID-19 vaccination requirements, unless an approved medical or religious exemption applies
ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult patients in a 10-bed ICU
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize clinical changes, and respond promptly to urgent needs
- Administer medications and treatments while following current clinical standards and patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams to support individualized treatment plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in Epic
- Participate in every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotations
- Float to nearby affiliated facilities in Oconomowoc and Mukwonago as needed based on census and staffing requirements, within appropriate clinical competencies
- Support a positive, professional team environment and demonstrate flexibility during periods of change
