Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location Requirement: Applicants must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the assignment location

Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred
• Previous medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• HARP/CPI certification preferred; training may be available
• Ability to provide safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced hospital environment

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients across a range of acuity levels.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor telemetry and clinical status, administer medications and treatments, and evaluate outcomes.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards and the Ohio RN scope of practice.
• Recognize changes in condition and initiate timely interventions, escalation, and communication with the appropriate care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to support quality outcomes.
• Provide patient education, health counseling, and discharge planning.
• Supervise and delegate appropriate nursing tasks while maintaining accountability for patient care.
• Promote patient safety, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
