- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750–$2,890
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Variable day shifts; scheduled day-shift windows may be 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding applicable holiday or orientation variations
- Call Schedule: One to two nights per week from 5:00 PM–7:00 AM and approximately every fourth or fifth weekend
- Weekend Call: Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM, with a 30-minute response time
- Holiday Coverage: Rotation as needed, including one holiday due to call obligations
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Travel Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of recent experience in an invasive cardiac, cardiac catheterization, CVOR, or closely related procedural setting
- Recent structural heart procedure experience required
- Strong experience scrubbing alongside physicians
- Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and high-risk PCI procedures, including Impella cases
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Associate degree or nursing certificate required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Epic charting experience
- Ability to respond within 30 minutes while on call
Invasive Cardiac RN Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing invasive cardiac and structural heart procedures
- Scrub and circulate for cardiac catheterizations, PCI procedures, and complex structural heart cases
- Support high-risk cardiovascular interventions, including Impella-assisted PCI
- Participate in TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and other structural heart procedures
- Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, nurses, and procedural technologists in a four-person team model
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition
- Complete accurate clinical documentation in Epic
- Participate in scheduled night, weekend, and holiday call rotations
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and collaborative procedural environment in a high-volume cardiac service
