CVOR Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,440–$1,510
- Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Shifts: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call Requirement: Approximately six call days per month
- Schedule Notes: No block scheduling; availability to work required holidays, including two major holidays and one minor holiday during the assignment
- Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular operating room supporting open-heart procedures
CVOR Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CVOR or cardiovascular operating room nursing experience
- Recent experience supporting cardiac surgery or open-heart surgical procedures
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work on-site, follow the assigned weekday schedule, and participate in required call coverage
- Willingness to meet the assignment’s holiday coverage expectations
CVOR RN Responsibilities
- Provide specialized perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing cardiovascular and open-heart procedures
- Prepare the operating room, equipment, supplies, and patient for surgery in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
- Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized cardiovascular operating room throughout each procedure
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes before, during, and after surgery
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and support effective handoff communication
- Participate in scheduled call coverage and holiday assignments as required
