Join an experienced perioperative team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Atlanta, Georgia. This on-site travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to support a broad range of surgical cases in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, including robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology. Located in Atlanta’s vibrant Buckhead area, this assignment provides access to excellent dining, shopping, parks, and convenient metropolitan amenities.

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,770–$1,870

- Assignment End Date: January 23, 2027
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, approximately 6:45 a.m.–7:15 p.m.
- Schedule: Three shifts per week, Monday through Friday scheduling
- Work Setting: On-site operating room
Operating Room RN Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Georgia
- At least 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise with a variety of surgical specialties, including robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, and gynecology
- Ability to work three 12-hour day shifts per week and meet holiday scheduling requirements
Perioperative Nursing Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care throughout the perioperative process
- Prepare operating rooms, surgical equipment, supplies, and patients for procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and the broader perioperative team
- Support a diverse surgical caseload, including robotic, neurological, orthopedic, plastic, and gynecologic procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and follow established infection prevention and patient safety standards
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes before, during, and after procedures
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and ensure appropriate specimen and equipment handling
- Work two major holidays among Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, plus one minor holiday
