- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week

Emergency Department RN Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- At least 1 year of professional nursing experience required; 4 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
- Recent Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience
- Current PALS, ACLS, and CPI certifications
- Ability to work a consistent 12-hour night schedule in an on-site setting
- Strong assessment, triage, prioritization, and communication skills
Emergency Department Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Perform focused assessments, triage patients, and identify changes in condition requiring immediate intervention
- Administer medications and treatments, initiate appropriate interventions, and evaluate patient responses
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate timely patient care
- Care for patients in the general Emergency Department and psychiatric pod according to established protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
- Support patient education, discharge planning, and safe transitions of care
- Maintain a calm, compassionate, and professional environment during high-volume and high-acuity situations
