Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – 13-Week Contract in Cleveland, Ohio

Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500–$2,630
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio, a vibrant healthcare and cultural hub near Lake Erie
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 4 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 10-hour shifts
• Shift: Late shift, approximately 11:00 AM–9:45 PM
• Orientation: One week of orientation on day shift
• Clinical Setting: Level I academic trauma center with 33 operating rooms
• Additional Scheduling: Weekend, holiday, and call coverage may be required

Operating Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 1 year of recent operating room, perioperative, or surgical nursing experience
• Strong experience caring for patients undergoing orthopedic, neurologic, trauma, and vascular procedures
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Level I trauma and academic medical center environment
• Operating room scrubbing experience is preferred
• Willingness to work late shifts and participate in weekend, holiday, or call coverage as needed

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care throughout the perioperative process
• Prepare operating rooms, patients, equipment, and supplies for a diverse surgical caseload
• Support orthopedic, neurologic, trauma, and vascular procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and other members of the perioperative care team
• Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique, patient safety standards, and surgical protocols
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changing clinical needs
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and support effective patient handoffs
• Participate in orientation, unit education, and ongoing competency activities
