Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Springfield, Massachusetts

- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts; 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks, from October 19, 2026 through January 17, 2027
- Weekend and Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and alternating holidays
- Float Requirement: May float to like units as needed
Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
- At least 2 years of relevant medical/surgical telemetry nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Ability to provide safe, effective care for adult patients with a typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6, with occasional 1:7 assignments
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends, alternating holidays, and float assignments to comparable units
Travel RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, clinical status, and patient responses to treatment
- Complete nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Care for patients with a range of medical conditions, including occasional post-bronchoscopy and chest tube patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely while collaborating with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Recognize changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide patient and family education and support discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and follow unit policies and professional nursing standards
