Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, near Harrisburg
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 20, 2026
• End Date: January 17, 2027
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• Unit: General Emergency Department

Travel Emergency Department RN Requirements

• At least 3 years of recent Trauma Emergency Department or Emergency Room nursing experience
• Previous experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact nursing license in hand
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Completion of required Pennsylvania fingerprinting prior to assignment
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and adapt to a fast-paced emergency care environment

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Provide timely, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical and traumatic conditions
• Perform focused emergency nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and promptly identify changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments while following emergency nursing protocols and patient safety standards
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate treatment
• Assist with patient stabilization, resuscitation, trauma response, and emergency procedures as needed
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support safe patient flow, prioritization, transfers, and discharge education
• Remain flexible to float to a nearby affiliated location as operational needs require
