Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Hawaii
• At least 1 year of recent emergency department or emergency room nursing experience
• Active nursing credentials in good standing
• Ability to work scheduled 12-hour day, evening, and night shifts
• Strong patient assessment, emergency triage, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Travel ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions
• Provide timely emergency nursing care in a 15-bed emergency department and six-bed fast-track area
• Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across diverse clinical presentations
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments, perform nursing procedures, and document patient care accurately
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support efficient patient flow and positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, follow-up care, and discharge instructions
