The position is based in Everett, WA, a scenic community near Puget Sound with convenient access to outdoor recreation, waterfront attractions, and the greater Seattle area.

Home Health RN Job Details

• Location: Everett, WA, and surrounding Snohomish County service area
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,320–$2,440
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 17, 2027
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month
• Travel Area: Availability to serve patients within an approximately 50-mile or greater territory

Home Health Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in home health nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Washington
• Home health assessment and care-planning experience preferred
• Previous experience with HCHB is required
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, communication, and clinical documentation skills
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the assigned Snohomish County service area
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with patients, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Home Health RN Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive in-home nursing assessments and evaluate each patient’s health status
• Develop, implement, and update individualized home health plans of care
• Provide skilled nursing interventions, patient education, medication management, and disease-process teaching
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to appropriate care team members
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in HCHB
• Meet a minimum productivity expectation of 30 points per week
• Complete required documentation by 10:00 a.m. the following day
• Support patients and families in achieving safe, effective care at home
