Home Health RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120–$2,230
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
• Weekly Hours: 40 guaranteed hours
• On-Call/Weekend Requirement: 1–2 weekends per month
• Coverage Areas: Jackson, Clinton, Vicksburg, Bolton, Edwards, Raymond, and Utica
• Patient Care Setting: Home health
• Additional Travel: Mileage between patient visits is reimbursed according to applicable guidelines
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Associate degree in nursing or higher
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience
• Home health nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel independently between patient homes throughout the assigned coverage area
• Experience with HCHB or PointCare is preferred and will help set candidates apart

Home Health Nursing Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality skilled nursing care directly in patients’ homes
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor patients’ clinical progress
• Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medication routines, safety, and self-care strategies
• Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Promote patient independence, positive health outcomes, and safety in the home environment
• Document patient visits, assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly
• Coordinate care with providers, caregivers, and other members of the care team
• Participate in scheduled on-call and weekend coverage
