Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Medical-Surgical Telemetry Contract in Concord, NH

Travel RN Job Details

• Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
• Location: Concord, New Hampshire
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970–$2,080
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 30, 2027
• Nursing Schedule: Four 12-hour night shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
• Healthcare Setting: On-site acute-care nursing environment

Med/Surg Registered Nurse Requirements

• Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse license at the time of submission
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg acute-care nursing experience; 2 or more years and prior travel nursing experience are strongly preferred
• Current resume highlighting relevant medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience
• Two recent professional references from the relevant nursing specialty
• Skills checklist consistent with the Med/Surg specialty
• Current license verification documentation, including a Nursys report when applicable
• Cerner experience preferred but not required
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients during 12-hour night shifts
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and identify changes requiring intervention
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, policies, and professional standards
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, technicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge needs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic medical record
• Respond effectively to changes in patient status and support a safe, organized medical-surgical unit environment
